The Glass Scraper took out Master Painters New Zealand Best Decorating Tool 2021/2022. Rotate the cover closed when it is time to pack up, and swap the blade when it dulls, not the scraper.

The Heavy-Duty Scraper head, front with the blade lock and back with the push-to-release button

Heavy-Duty Scraper

Built to take real pressure.

Metal construction and an impact-resistant design. For tough, stuck-on material, tap the handle lightly with a hammer. To change the blade, push to release on the back, slide the old blade out and turn the lock on the front: by hand, or with a screwdriver for extra hold. When the job is done, the safety cap goes back over the blade. It takes the same 100mm blades as the Glass Scraper, so one 10-pack of refills keeps both tools going.
