How to choose · Surface & finish

Pick by surface, finish, coverage and paint.

For water-based paints, start with Microfibre and match the nap to the surface. The smoother the surface and the finer the finish you want, the shorter the nap; rougher surfaces need a longer nap that holds more paint.

Coverage & paint

Need more coverage, or oil-based paint?

CoverageDacron 10mm3/8″Holds a lot of paint and covers difficult colours in fewer coats. Recommended for undercoats, and used for top coats too. Water-based only.

PaintHybrid Mohair 5mm1/4″For oil-based paints, enamels, epoxy and marine coatings. The rest of the range is for water-based paints.
